In last week’s Picture to Ponder, I featured a scarecrow on a balcony in Sedona, AZ. Back home in Boynton Beach, FL, on a neighborhood walk, one evening, I saw this scarecrow happily placed in the middle of 3 palms. This scarecrow looks like he’s camoflaged, especially with the way the light falls on him. No wonder I like him so much. He reminds me of myself. I always try to blend into my environment. And he’s happy that way. People say: Don’t you want to be noticed? And I tell them: I’d rather do the noticing.
