I respond to beautiful sunsets like most other people. The sense have
calm, and a sense of completion and fulfillment. Kind of like, "God's
in His heaven and all's right with the world."
I have always been curious as to WHY we respond this way. What is it
about the colors and setting that leads us to respond this way. And,
by extension, other "archetypal" scenes, like babies, almost of any
species, brings out the "nurturer" in us.
Even though advertisers often exploit our responses to these scenes,
I hope I at least can maintain the "sacredness" of such scenes.
