Sheila,
Your photos made me think about a walk I took yesterday with my cocker spaniel friend, Rockie. One of the homes we pass on our way to the park has a large magnolia tree. Saturday it was filled with blossoms, yesterday the ground beneath the tree was carpeted with the huge pink and white petals - still a beautiful sight in their own way. One of the other yards was a spring delight - with cheerful little clumps of yellow daffodils and early tulips. Some years spring in California comes and goes so swiftly it is easy to miss all of the subtle changes. It is good to take the time to truly look at the world around us; to see the beauty that is literally everywhere, to connect with life. Your photos help to remind us of this. Thank you for doing what you do.
Appreciatively,
Lauren

Hi Sheila,

It never fails to amaze me that your topics are always so in line with my day when I open them up. This morning on my way to work I was thinking about you and your Pictures to Ponder, and about how much I enjoy them every week and that I needed to change my email address, since I have moved. I went in and did the address change and look forward to receiving the pictures as usual. I am grateful! Thank you so much for the energy you put into this sharing, the lovely photos, the inspiration prompts.

Aloha from Kauai,
Peggy

Hi Sheila,
Orchids seem a great symbol of life - beautiful and delicate. An orchid is strong in its own way. With the blue background there is more contrast, bringing out at least the assumption of more strength.
It's perception that makes the difference in life and in photography.
What I'm grateful for is you, Sheila, and your unique perceptions that touch so many of us in different ways that have no end.
Thanks you,
Marifran

Sheila,

I am very busy today, however, looking at your flowers really had me thinking about OPENING UP to ALL the DIFFERENT SIDES of our experiences. If I simply isolated any one of those flowers and examined that "perspective" they each would be totally different.

So I realize all of life is a Reflection and there is no "accident" I paused to ponder your photos this particular moment this morning. I will endeavor to realize as I "engage" with my day, that there are always more different ways to play with what I am doing or experiencing. If I merely adjust my Perspective just a little, it might be a Lot more Fun!!

Thanks so much!! Morgine
