I love Morgine's idea that sometimes we just need a break - totally agreed!

I've been toying with the idea of spaciousness lately - along with flow.

When I feel like I'm banging up against something, I start putting pressure on myself... and it feels like I'm squeezing myself into a box.

Sometimes trying to flow through something just makes it harder to get through.

But if I tell myself that the idea, or the thought, or the task needs space - it opens things up a bit and before I know it - ideas begin to flow in.

So sometimes it's not about me flowing - it's about something flowing toward me.

Sometimes when things are flowing you need a BREAK. If you are getting tired, fatigued or feel like you are pushing against the wall, it is a SIGNAL from your body's wonderful guidance system to stop what you are doing and do something else. Joe Vitale was talking about that the other day, a man who is an expert on hypnosis and issues of the mind and how it functions. He shared whenever that happens, he goes and does whatever he most wants to do "next", totally forgetting what he was stuck on. However, he tells us, the unconscious mind is still working away on it in the background. Then later on, suddenly he will get an insight and excitedly goes back to the project where he was stuck and now he is IN THE FLOW again!

You could also ask yourself if there is something evident in your feelings of "pushing", however, you do not want to get stuck in trying to figure it out. It is only a momentary thought and if nothing comes, change what you are doing. Normally nothing great comes when you force your way through something, especially if it is art, writing, photography. Spirit is the guide and the flowing with that energy is what, for me, creates all the MAGIC!... And if I am stuck writing, I just write about being stuck to see if I can get into the flow again...sometimes it works and sometimes not!
