Full Moon -
Tomorrow night, May 6 at 11:34 PM EDT will be the largest full moon of 2012. Scientific explanation of and a brief very interesting video, by Science of NASA, on this “supermoon” can be found on the Space.com site, FULL MOON page. Be sure to scroll down that page to see the video.
Thinking about, and observing, the moon in both the light and dark skies over the past few days made me very aware of light and shadows. So when I came upon Picture to Ponder Volume 6 – Issue 19, it seemed to be perfect to revise for today. It is based on my oftentimes repeated observations, “where there are shadows, there is light. In order to have shadows we MUST have light.”
We can most definitely look at the following through the filters of happenings in our relationships.

If you are one who has been married, or in a relationship, for 7 or more years, I’d love to have a conversation with you regarding Love With No Regrets. Do you ever wonder if there can be more than what you have now between the two of you? Are you and/or he/she challenged in expressing your/their true feelings? Are there things being left unsaid that you might regret not having spoken?
If any of the above fits for you, I invite you to schedule a 30-minute time slot on my Session Calendar For more background and general information see – www.LoveWithNoRegrets.com – or go directly to the RYL-Session page to book a time.
Now on to Today’s Photos – A strange combination, I know. And, what commonalities do you see?

This past week “Loyalty and Devotion” one of the tips from “55 Ways to Show Love” has been running around my mind.
Last week, I had walked out on my screened-in patio and once again noticed a bud on a phalaenopsis plant. In my usual pattern, I got excited and watched it for a day or so. Then “taking-it-for-granted” kicked in and I forgot about it until the flower opened. Once again I did notice the plant, along with the second bud, then flower which appeared a few days later.

As I am transitioning and developing my Love With No Regrets business, I’ve started looking at issues from several years ago to see which photos and Self-Reflecting Queries fit more specifically with relationship issues.
Since so many of our Picture to Ponders do, in fact, in some way deal with relationships, firstly and most importantly with ourselves, I’m anticipating a fun time. It is my intention that you too enjoy the journey.
If you’ve been around here for a while, you know how much fun I have with reflections, so it’s not surprising that the first issue I went to was this with Miami Reflections.

Not to infringe upon your experience of the textures and beauty in the flowers in the featured photos in today’s issue of Picture to Ponder, I’ll get right to them. The “story” follows, along with links to other wetlands Wild Iris photos.

When searching for a “heart” photo, or just “the right” photo for Valentine’s Day the above photo of headlights (taillights?) of a car popped out at me. Be it the colors, or the multi-reflected images it seemed to be most fitting to my message for today. So, I said “yes” to its being today’s featured photo. [click to continue…]

The intention of today’s issue of Picture to Ponder is meant to give you a refreshing break in Nature through photographs from two recent, bright sunny days with two, presumably different, Cormorants.

I continue to be so excited with my video desk-top discovery written about earlier today in my Orchid Light and Ocean Video post that I took a picture of a Word document surround by ocean energy as I worked.

The image you see is WORD open, on top of a QuickTime video paused where I wanted it. QuickTime is staying open throughout my work day. Again, see previous post for explanation how I’m using it on my desktop. Clicking on the icon in the lower right will open it full screen.
If you would like the download of the above video for any-time respite on your own desktop, simply fill in the form below.
And, if you would like to listen to the sounds of the ocean as you work, you can open my YouTube Sunrise-Sunset Ocean videos Playlist. The videos play one after another so you can have that going in the background while you work. Any time you need a visual respite, you can simply go back to that window. For best listening, lower your computer volume.
Clicking on YouTube in the video below will bring you directly into the full Playlist.

Though I did wish you a Happy New Year in the closing issue of Picture to Ponder for 2011, I’m moved to share the following photos and video for their light and aliveness.
Continuing the celebration, these orchids are spilling light and joy into the New Year. May it be a wondrous one, full of discovery and both old and the new that will empower you and your loved ones.
Discovering new things is one of the big passions in my life, especially exciting when they happen accidentally and totally unexpectedly. Be sure to continue reading, to see the possibility with videos.
